(Q) Do you charge a security deposit on seasonal rentals?

(A) Yes, a flat fee of $500.00

(Q) Can the security deposit be applied to our rent?

(A) No, it is just what the name implies, a security against any damages

(Q) Do you take credit cards?

(A) No, they charge an additional percentage to the unit owners.

(Q) How long will you hold the property once I place a deposit on it?

(A) You may book at anytime but it is subject to confirming with the property owner that the property will be in our program for the next year. Confirmation is sent to you when that information is received by us

(Q) Do you accept pets?

(A) Generally no but we do have some “pet friendly” properties Call us to see if one is available for the time period you wish.

(Q) If I cancel will I get my deposit back?

(A) It depends on when you cancel. If a cancellation is made 90 or more days before the occupancy date you will receive $400.00 back. If you cancel 89 days or less prior to the occupancy date your will lose your security deposit (unless we can re-rent it prior to your original occupancy date -in which case you will receive $400.00 back)

(Q) How far are you from the beach?

(A) That will depend on the property, our area beaches are all within a
10 -15 minute drive.

(Q) Can I bring my boat?

(A) Again, that depends on the property, some of our rental homes have a dock, others will require you to rent dock space at one of the 9 local marinas.

(Q) Is there a TV in the master bedroom?

(A) Yes, it is required in all of our rentals.

(Q) Is there a heated pool?

(A) Most of our condo and townhouse rentals have community pools. Most of our single family homes also have pools, check with our agent to verify.

(Q) Is there a golf course nearby?

(A) Yes, there are 30+ golf courses within a 30 minute drive (no pun intended) of all our rental properties.

(Q) Do I get a discount on golf?

(A) Yes, we have discount cards available for you which have discounts up to $8.00 per round at the Rotonda Golf & Country Club.

(Q) Can I rent a boat locally?

(A) Yes, there are rentals available thru local marinas.

(Q) Are the local restaurants formal or informal?

(A) For the most part very informal dinning. We do suggest you make a reservation in advance as there are many vacationers wanting to dine out also. There are some formal restaurants in the area and they normally REQUIRE a reservation.

(Q) Will you hold a property until I can send you a deposit?

(A) Yes, for 5 days only. If you send your deposit immediately we should get it within 2 or 3 days. At that point the property is reserved for you. If you are concerned about not getting the property you selected we suggest you send your check via UPS, FED EX or one of the other overnight services.

(Q) My wife has a medical condition, is there a hospital nearby?

(A) Yes, Englewood Community Hospital is a 100 bed hospital and is minutes from any of our rentals.

(Q) Are children allowed in your rentals?

(A) Yes, unless the community is designated as a “55+” community. Check the property description for that specification.

(Q) If I like the place we stay can I just leave my security deposit and get the same unit next year?

(A) Yes, again subject to the property being in our rental program next year and subject to any increase in rent.
